My Ink Tattoos
A top-3-ranked Miami studio with 3,400+ reviews needed a homepage that felt like the ink itself. So the ink became the interface.

The brief
My Ink is one of the highest-rated studios in Miami — 5.0 stars across 3,400+ Google reviews. Their reputation was already made. What they didn't have was a homepage that carried any of that weight: the site said 'we do tattoos,' the reviews said 'we're the best in the city.'
A tattoo shop's site should feel like the medium. Ink in water was already the metaphor — it just needed to be real.
What got built
The whole hero is a live fluid simulation running on the GPU. Move the cursor and you're physically dragging ink through water behind the headline — not a video loop, not a GIF, an actual real-time simulation responding to your pointer. Underneath it, the things that convert sit exactly where a phone-first visitor expects them: rating, review count, ranking, call button, directions.
- EffectReal-time WebGL fluid simulation, pointer-driven
- Proof5.0 rating, 3,400+ reviews and Top-3 ranking above the fold
- ActionTap-to-call and directions in the first screen
- FallbackStatic gradient hero under reduced-motion — no motion required to use the site
