The brief
Nobody visits a bar's website to read the story of the bar. They're standing outside somewhere else at 9 PM asking one question: is anything happening tonight, and are you still open? Black Saddle's site answered neither above the fold.
A bar site has one job after 9 PM: answer 'is anything happening tonight' before the thumb moves.
What got built
The rebuild is events-first. What's on, when, and how late — bingo nights, fishbowls, live music, and the 2 AM close — sit at the top where a phone-in-hand visitor finds them in one glance. The moodier atmosphere shots still carry the room's character, but they support the schedule instead of burying it.
